Clio Music, the global competition celebrating creativity in music marketing and the use of music in advertising, has announced the individuals who will comprise its five juries in 2021. Bandcamp has debuted Bandcamp Live, a new ticketed livestream platform which gives artists the tools to easily host live performances, as well as sell merch to their fans. November 19, 2020 – SoundCloud and Cosynd Partner to Offer Creatives Discounted Copyright Registrations
Music Biz members SoundCloud and Cosynd have entered a partnership to offer discounts for Cosynd’s suite of copyright registration & management services to artists using SoundCloud’s artist services & distribution platform, Repost by SoundCloud. By partnering with Cosynd, Repost by SoundCloud community members will be able to register all of their content (music, videos, images, literature) at a discounted rate of $25 plus federal filing fees. With this year’s college homecoming celebrations shifting to virtual formats due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Music Biz member Peloton has entered a multi-year partnership with Beyoncé to offer students at 10 Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) two years of digital fitness classes.
