Music Biz’s Academic Partnership program was founded to meet the specific needs of the music industry’s next generation of leaders and those who teach them. Once a college or university becomes an Academic Partner, we’ll begin providing its staff with a special slate of benefits & resources tailored to support their students’ education and early career development. Below, you’ll find the full list of Academic Partner colleges & universities, and learn all about our academia-specific benefits!
As one of our most valued benefits, our Scholarship Foundation allows students from Academic Partner institutions to apply for financial aid packages. The Foundation raised $100,000 in 2021, allowing us to give 20 outstanding students each a $5,000 scholarship!

Music Biz’s bi-annual #NEXTGEN_U student summits feature keynotes, panel discussions and breakout groups focused on supporting members of the academic community. Academic Partner members receive discounts to attend, and can also participate as panelists and moderators.

Academic Partner members can also access FREE attendance to our Common Ground Webinar Series, recordings of past free Music Biz events, and discounted registrations for other select Music Biz Events.
