Copyright management service, Cosynd has partnered with music distribution & publishing firm, Too Lost to offer its Copyright Registration API protection service to the firm’s global community of over 250,000 independent artists & labels. Warner Music Group has recruited Bryan Castellani as the label’s next EVP and CFO, effective October 16th. Prior to joining WMG, Castellani served nearly 30 years in executive roles at The Walt Disney Company. Short-form video streaming platform, TikTok and music & entertainment magazine, Billboard have partnered to debut the TikTok Billboard Top 50 Chart, a new weekly chart highlighting the most popular songs on the platform in the U.S. The chart’s stats will be based on a combination of creations, video views, and user engagement by the U.S. TikTok community. Music streaming platform, Spotify has debuted Daylist, an AI-powered playlist which updates multiple times a day based upon users’ listening habits. International music company, BMG has signed a global recording and publishing partnership with Jennifer Lopez to release her upcoming ninth album.
