Amazon has begun rolling out its new “Vinyl of the Month Club: The Golden Era” program, delivering subscribers one classic vinyl record from the sixties or seventies every month. The service costs $24.99 per month, and new or unused records can be returned at no additional cost. June 30, 2021 – Music Biz Member Feed Media Group Signs A Train Publishing Onto Adaptr Licensing Platform

Feed Media Group has brought A Train Entertainment onto its Adaptr music licensing program, giving developers and entrepreneurs whose tech products involve music access to high-quality, fully licensed tracks from the publisher’s artists. This partnership opens up a new revenue stream for A Train’s artists, who will now receive royalty payments when their songs are used on Adaptr-based apps. June 29, 2021 – Music Biz Member The Orchard Announces Global Distribution Deal, Formation of SONAR Label With Rimas Entertainment

The Orchard has announced a new global distribution deal with Rimas Entertainment, giving Rimas’ artist roster access to The Orchard’s artist & label services and looping artists’ YouTube channels into The Orchard’s Multi-Channel Network. The agreement also covers distribution for Rimas’ catalog material and new projects. June 29, 2021 – Music Biz Member TikTok Launches Third-Party Integration Tool, Jump

TikTok has announced the widespread rollout of its new Jump integration, allowing creators to build in links to third-party providers that relate to the content they are posting. For example, a yoga instructor can use a Jump for breathing exercise app, Breathwrk, to share a relevant routine with their followers. June 29, 2021 – Music Biz Member TuneCore’s “Signed By” Program Upstreams More Than 340 Artists

DIY digital music distributor TuneCore has revealed that the ongoing Signed By program, its artist development partnership established with parent company Believe, has helped more than 340 independent artists sign with Believe and its labels. Artists who release their music through TuneCore and are identified as “rising stars” are eligible to take advantage of the program. Social platform TikTok and the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency (CMRRA) — a division of Music Biz member SoundExchange — have announced a new multi-year agreement for the collection of digital mechanical royalties in Canada. June 22, 2021 – Music Biz Members Primary Wave and Universal’s Virgin Music Announce Global Deal

Independent publishing and talent management company, Primary Wave, has announced a new global distribution agreement with Virgin Music Label & Artist Services (launched by Universal Music Group in February as a rebrand of Caroline).
