Amazon Music For Artists has announced the launch of two new features to help artists prepare merch offerings and connect their fans with items for sale directly through their artists page.  Artists and managers now have expedited access to Amazon’s Merch on Demand service by connecting their Amazon Music for Artists account. The print-on-demand service includes no upfront costs or inventory to manage, and all merch orders are eligible for Prime shipping. November 8, 2022 – Music Biz Member Vevo Announces “DSCVR Artists to Watch” List for 2023

Music video network, Vevo has released the full list of 20 global artists for the 2023 edition of its  “DSCVR Artists to Watch” campaign. More than 550 artists submitted for inclusion on the list, which Vevo determines based on who they expect will break into the mainstream. Music funding platform, beatBread has launched an exclusive investor network of music companies and professionals, distributors and what it states as “high-net worth individuals” to add morefunding options for artists to its existing pool of institutional capital. This new feature will also enable artists that have received an offer from beatBread to showcase their tour dates, collaborators, marketing partners, and other initiatives to a range of investors. November 7, 2022 – Music Biz Member Warner Records Names Ron Stewart SVP of Urban Promotion

Warner Records has promoted Ron Stewart to the role of SVP of Urban Promotion. In addition to his current duties, Stewart will spearhead promotion strategy and campaigns for all Urban artists in the Warner Records roster. In 2003, Stewart began his career in music as a promotion assistant at Jive Records, where he helped launch the careers of Ciara, Chris Brown and T-Pain. Warner Chappell Music Korea has renewed its global partnership deal with 153/ Joombas Publishing.
