November 3, 2022 – Music Biz Member Warner Chappell Extends Global Partnership with 153/ Joombas Publishing

Warner Chappell Music Korea has renewed its global partnership deal with 153/ Joombas Publishing. November 3, 2022 – Music Biz Member Warner Music Group Partners With Pinterest To Expand Platform’s Music Catalog

Music Biz members Warner Music Group and Warner Chappell Music, along with BMG and Merlin, have all partnered with social media service, Pinterest to add tracks from each group’s library for use on the platform. October 26, 2022 – Music Biz Member The MLC Issues Nearly $700M in Royalties to Songwriters and Publishers

In just a year and a half, The Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC) has directly paid nearly $700 million in blanket royalties to its members. As reported by the MLC following its second annual membership meeting, rightsholders have obtained more than $800 million to date, with about $120 million in royalties being processed by the MLC and paid out by DSPs.
