Music Biz members Warner Music Group and Warner Chappell Music, along with BMG and Merlin, have all partnered with social media service, Pinterest to add tracks from each group’s library for use on the platform. Users will now be able to search for their desired track by song title, artist, or keyword and pair it with a short-form video or image gallery as an “Idea Pin.”
“The future of media will be founded on music,” stated Oana Ruxandra, WMG’s Chief Digital Officer & EVP, Business Development. “WMG, including our publishing partners at Warner Chappell, is incredibly excited to partner with Pinterest to help inspire their users to engage, design, and imagine. Together, the creative potential for Pinterest audiences will be virtually endless.”
