Music Biz Member Amazon Expands Music Catalog For Prime Users To 100 Million Songs

Amazon has announced the expansion of its song catalog for Amazon Prime members (separate from Amazon’s Music Unlimited tier), and now offers its members access to 100 million songs in “shuffle mode.” The company’s more than 200 million global users can now shuffle any artist, album or playlist ad-free, in addition to streaming personalized playlists, downloading songs for offline listening and access to Amazon’s podcast library.

“We can’t wait for members to experience not only a massively expanded catalog of songs, but also the largest selection of ad-free podcasts anywhere, at no additional cost to their membership.” said Steve Boom, VP of Amazon Music.
