July 28, 2020 – Music Business Association Signs On to Support the “Save Our Stages Act”

The Music Business Association has signed on to support the passage of the “Save Our Stages Act,” which if passed would provide Small Business Administration grants for independent venues, promoters, and festivals affected by COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. One of the more important pieces of the Music Modernization Act passed in 2018 was the establishment of the Mechanical Licensing Collective.
