Music Biz Member YouTube Launches Dream Track AI Voice Replication Feature

Video streaming platform, YouTube has launched Dream Track, a generativeAI voice replication feature available for use in clips on YouTube Shorts. The new feature, out now in an experimental beta capacity, allows users to create 30-second pieces of music accompanied by AI-generated voices of well-known artists including Charlie Puth, John Legend, Sia, T-Pain, Demi Lovato, Troye Sivian, Charli XCX, Alec Benjamin and Papoose. 

“At this initial phase, the experiment is designed to help explore how the technology could be used to create deeper connections between artists and creators, and ultimately, their fans,” said Lyor Cohen, Global Head of Music and Toni Reid, VP of Emerging Experiences and Community at YouTube.
