Music Biz Member Columbia Records UK Promotes Jamie Spinks To Head Of A&R

Sony Music Entertainment UK has appointed Jamie Spinks as Head of A&R at Columbia Records UK. In his role, he will be responsible for overseeing the direction of A&R strategy, as well as signing and developing talent for Columbia Records UK’s roster. Spinks will also run a joint venture label named Room Two, which operates under the Columbia Records UK banner. Prior to joining Columbia, Spinks spent 10 years at Polydor working in A&R, where he signed and worked with acts including Jax Jones, RAYE, Celeste, Ellie Goulding, Mura Masa, and A$AP Rocky. Spinks will report directly to Dipesh Parmar, President of Columbia Records UK. 

“Jamie’s the definition of a true A&R who understands how to achieve the best from artists and bring real value to records,” said Parmar.
