Music Biz Member Capitol Music Group Names Orlando Wharton EVP for Capitol; President Of Relaunched Priority Records
Capitol Music Group (CMG) has named A&R executive Orlando Wharton to an EVP role for the label. In addition, Wharton will serve as President of the Priority Records label, as the company looks to relaunch it as a platform to support Hip-Hop artists at all stages of their careers. Prior to joining the CMG team, Wharton worked in various A&R roles which saw him break and develop high-profile artists including Fetty Wap, Kodak Black and PnB Rock.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Michelle Jubelirer and the great team she’s assembled at CMG, always mindful that artists lead the way and that we’re here to support their brilliance and creativity,” Wharton said.
