Music Biz Member BMG Promotes Anthony Abner To Global General Counsel

International music company, BMG has appointed long-time Business & Legal Affairs executive Anthony Abner to Global General Counsel, EVP, Business & Legal Affairs. In his new role, he will serve as the company’s most senior attorney, counseling BMG senior management and overseeing the company’s global legal teams. Prior to joining BMG, Abner held senior executive positions at PMP Records and Loud Records, as well as senior attorney roles with music law firms Lenard & Gonzalez and Davis Shapiro Lewit Montone & Hayes. Abner will report directly to BMG CEO, Thomas Coesfeld.
