Music Biz Member Apple Music For Artists Updates Platform To Showcase Real-Time Listening Information

Apple Music for Artists has unveiled a new real-time listening feature, designed to showcase live data on how an artist’s music is performing on Apple Music. By using the feature’s “Listening Now” widget, artists can access a detailed overview of trends from the past 48 hours, in addition to their maximum listeners, average listeners and top performing songs. The new feature also includes key metrics on total plays, average daily listeners, song purchases, Shazams and location of fans streaming an artist’s music.
