Music Biz is celebrating its 60th year in 2018. How many Association conferences have you been to and what was your greatest memory? If it’s your first — what panel/keynote/event, etc. (other than your own) are you most excited for? Check out the preliminary schedule here.
This will be my 4th year involved in the programming for Music Biz, and I can’t wait to get back to Nashville. I’m most excited about the presentation with “Music’s Leading Ladies”. It has been an interesting year in entertainment with the #MeToo and #TimeUp movements. I’m looking forward to hearing more perspectives from successful women in our industry.
What’s that one song that has the power to get you through the work day? Describe it.
When I need a pick-me-up, I love Ingrid Michaelson’s, “You and I”. It’s a sweet little duet about being broke but using love to pay the bills. She fantasizes about buying a home in the south of France, and teaching everyone to dance for her amusement. Also, there’s lots of hand clapping…everyone needs more hand clapping!
If you could have front row tickets to any concert in any city at any venue — what and where would you choose
Paul McCartney performing in my living room.
