Music Biz 2025
Music Biz’s invitation for industry professionals like you to share your knowledge and expertise!
Music Biz 2025 is heading to Atlanta — a new city and countless opportunities to educate and learn from a new community of music industry professionals. The beauty of our event is that no matter the location, each and every edition of the Annual Music Biz Conference offers a vital forum for global industry professionals to find solutions to common roadblocks, explore new music hubs and genres, gain exposure for their company’s products and services, and grow their professional networks.
As we prepare for Music Biz 2025 — happening May 12-15 at the Renaissance Waverly Atlanta — we are once again seeking expert viewpoints on the latest trends & tech influencing how our industry operates. Your input as a music industry professional is invaluable to us as we program our conference to be as timely, relevant and high-caliber as possible.
From now until 11:59 PM PST on Wednesday, December 4, submit your most creative, well-thought-out ideas based on our criteria that offer high-level panels and presentations on ways to 1) best monetize music in today’s marketplace and 2) create a healthier & more inclusive work environment for everyone engaged in the business of music.
SUBMIT YOUR PROGRAM PROPOSAL HERE
While Music Biz membership is not a requirement for submitting a proposal, active members are given priority consideration. There are many benefits to membership beyond participation in the Annual Conference — to learn more, visit musicbiz.org/about or contact our Membership Director, Sonya Askew, at sonya.askew@musicbiz.org.
All topics MUST present a balanced perspective, ensuring that attendees understand the full spectrum of an issue and that key industry stakeholders are given a chance to weigh in on the discussion from their vantage point.
Presentations, case studies, conversation/interview formats, and panels are encouraged.
Those sessions that lend themselves best to a panel format MUST be limited to no more than one (1) moderator and three (3) panelists.
Presenters/panelists MUST be diverse in gender, ethnicity, age, geographic location, areas of expertise, and ideologies. This push is in line with the Music Business Association’s aim to accelerate change in the music industry and create a more inclusive environment for present and future generations. If balance and diversity are not achieved, the Association reserves the right to disqualify submissions, or suggest/add participants to a discussion to ensure that our standards are met.
