2021 Scholarship Application

Welcome to the 2021 Scholarship Application

Deadline for submission: Friday, March 5, 2021.

The following are eligible to apply:

  • + Undergrad students who will be enrolled full-time for the 2021-2022 academic year at a Music Biz Academic Partner college or university in a music business, technology or entertainment law program

    • + Employees, children and spouses of employees of Music Biz member companies that are high school seniors or will attend college as an undergraduate full-time in the 2021-2022 academic year

      • + Students participating in the Well Dunn Internship Program

      List the high school you are attending and the date you expect to graduate.

    • Please name the colleges and universities that you are considering attending following graduation.


    • For Undergraduate College Students


    • For Well Dunn Internship Participants


    • For All Applicants

    • In the box below, please list any high school/university-sponsored or community-sponsored activities that you have participated in during the past three years. Applicants must include name of activity, grades in which you participated in the activity, and positions you held, and honors or letters earned. (i.e., Student Council, 10th-12th grade, Vice President 11th grade, President 12th grade) Please separate activities with returns.
    • Please indicate your leisure interests or hobbies, noting any accomplishments.
    • Please list any jobs (including summer employment) you have held in the past three years. Applicants must list position title, employer, approximate dates for employment, and approximate number of hours worked per week. (i.e., server, IHOP, June 2015-May 2017, 15 hours per week). Please separate each job entry with a return.
    • Please provide a short statement detailing how you fit the criteria outlined for this scholarship. Include any extraordinary circumstances that you feel should receive special consideration by the Scholarship Committee.
    • Please respond to ONE of the two items listed below:

      A) Describe the one interest or activity (in or out of school) that you feel you have made the strongest commitment to, or that has taken up most of your time and energy. How do you evaluate the results of your involvement in this endeavor? Clearly describe what your role in this activity is.

      OR

      B) Discuss your plans for the future, including a potential career choice and how you plan to prepare yourself for that career.
