F.A.M.S. Coalition

With nearly forty years of experience in music retail, marketing, and promotions, Solina “Nina” Smith is a seasoned professional dedicated to fostering growth and innovation within the music industry. As the director of the Forever A Music Store (F.A.M.S.) Coalition, she advocates for the interests of independently Black-owned record stores, ensuring they thrive in a constantly evolving market.

Throughout her career, Nina has consistently advocated for the sustainability and advancement of independent stores, ensuring their voices are heard and their contributions recognized.
