Bea Koramblyum, who started at Downtown over 14 years ago, is currently the Global Head of Business Affairs and VP of Business Development for Downtown Music Publishing. Based in New York, she oversees all of the company’s legal and business affairs activities. She has played a key role in many high-profile transactions, including agreements with Phish, The National, The Estate of Miles Davis, Tori Amos and The George Gershwin Estate.
Prior to joining Downtown, she spent more than seven years with Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, LLP, starting as a legal assistant and later promoted to paralegal.
Bea also serves on the Advisory Board for Women in Music and is on the Advisory Council for the Music Business program of her alma mater, Hofstra University. She most recently served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Music Business Association, and she is also an Adjunct Instructor at New York University teaching Music Publishing.
Bea was honored as of one of Billboard’s Women In Music Top Executives of 2022 and featured in Variety’s New York Women’s Impact Report 2022 and Variety’s Music Legal Elite 2025.
