Music Biz Mourns the Loss of ‘Partridge Family’ Star David Cassidy

Music Business Association President James Donio issued the following statement​ upon the death of David Cassidy:

“Music Biz is saddened by the passing of David Cassidy, who rose to prominence as a member of The Partridge Family before achieving solo stardom and teen idol status. Back in 1970, Cassidy and The Partridge Family received our NARM Best Seller Award for their debut single ‘I Think I Love You.’ He was a pop culture icon, whose TV show and music were a constant presence in my teen years. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.”
