Music Biz Member Warner Music Group Names Val Blavatnik Board Director

Warner Music Group has recruited Val Blavatnik as the company’s latest board member and member of WMG’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining WMG, Blavatnik worked in the music industry as an artist manager from 2016 to 2019. He later served as a production executive at Eden Productions, as well as on the investment team at LionTree. Blavatnik will succeed former board director, Alex Blavatnik.

He’ll also bring a fresh perspective as we chart the future of WMG.
