Music Biz Member Warner Music Group Names Julie Greenwald Chairman & CEO of Newly Created Atlantic Music Group

Warner Music Group has named Julie Greenwald to the role of chairman & CEO for the newly created Atlantic Music Group. In this new role, she will oversee Atlantic Records (Atlantic, Atco, Big Beat, and Canvasback) and 300 Elektra Entertainment (300, Elektra, Fueled by Ramen, Roadrunner, Low Country Sound, DTA, and Public Consumption) alongside Craig Kallman. Greenwald began her illustrious career at Atlantic Records in 2004. Prior to this, she started her music career at Def Jam Records, where in just six years’ time she would come to oversee the entire marketing department for Island Def Jam Music Group. In 2002, she was appointed as the President of Island Records/EVP of IDJ, making her one of only three women holding that title at a major record label.
