Music Biz Member Warner Music Group Inks Licensing Deal With Facebook For Music Ad Revenue Sharing

Warner Music Group has announced a new licensing deal with Facebook. This new deal will allow the label to collect 20% of ad revenue when songs from their artist roster are used in a video on the platform. 

“We have recently signed new deals with Meta that will deliver additional revenue in Q4,” said Warner Music Group CEO, Steve Cooper. “Our new deals include an expanded revenue-sharing model that will open up additional opportunities for both frontline and catalog artists.”
