 Music Biz Member Warner Music China Signs R&B Star Elva Hsiao

Warner Music China has signed a global publishing deal with China’s R&B star & pioneer, Elva Hsiao. Per the new deal, Warner Music China will work to strengthen Hsiao’s domestic fanbase, as well as expand the global reach of her music through the company’s international network. Hsiao is the first native Mandarin-speaking artist to release a R&B album into the Chinese market, leading her to become the region’s highest-selling artist with 16 record-breaking albums. 

“Elva Hsiao is a unique talent who has made a significant cultural impact. She is also a megastar whose music resonates across the region,” said Jonathan Serbin and Chris Gobalakrishna, Co-Presidents of Warner Music Asia. “We are delighted to welcome her to the Warner Music family and feel honored that she’s entrusted us to help her continue to build her successful career.”
