Warner Chappell Music has announced a new licensing deal with China-based social platform, Kuaishou. Per the terms of the agreement, WCM’s music catalog will now be available to the platform’s 180 million active users.
“As the digital ecosystem continues to evolve in exciting new ways, social-sharing apps like Kuaishou are changing how people experience and discover music around the world,” said WCM SVP of Global Digital, Natalie Madaj. “We’re very proud to be partnering with the team to bring our catalogue of songs to Kuaishou’s engaged userbase and talented music creators.”
