Music Biz Member Verve Label Group Announces Promotions of Jamie Krents and Dawn Olejar

Verve Label Group has announced the promotions of Jamie Krents as President of Verve, Impulse! and Verve Forecast Records; and Dawn Olejar as EVP and General Manager of Verve Label Group. They will both report to the President & CEO of both Universal Classics & Jazz and Verve Label Group, Dickon Stainer. Based in New York, they will lead the growth and development of the company. 

With more than 20 years at Verve, Krents started as a temp and served in a number of executive roles including  SVP of International Marketing and Development for Verve and EVP of Verve, Impulse! & Forecast imprints. 

“Having spent my entire career at this company, this is literally a dream for me, as I have a respect for the history of Verve, Impulse! and Verve Forecast that is equaled only by my belief in our artists, our team, and my excitement over how our labels are evolving,” said Krents. 

Olejar has overseen multiple US campaigns for international artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Ludovico Einaudi, Diana Ross and many more as the company’s EVP. Previously, she served as GM for RPM Music Productions. 

“I couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter with Verve Label Group,” added Olejar. “The personal and professional relationships I’ve built over the last few years have been the most rewarding of my career and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
