Universal Music Group has promoted Frédéric Voillemot as the company’s new CFO & EVP of Business Development for Africa, Middle East & Asia (AMEA). In his new role, he will work closely with the digital and legal team to provide a harmonious commercial approach across the region, while serving as a key member of the company’s AMEA team. He will report directly to EVP of Market Development, Adam Granite and will liaise with CFO & EVP, Boyd Muir and EVP & Controller, Philippe Flageul.
“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter, where I’ll be able to leverage my experience to further develop UMG’s high-growth markets and work with the excellent teams that Adam has already assembled to capitalize on the extraordinary breadth of opportunities in those regions,” said Voillemot. “I am incredibly proud of my tenure leading UMG’s Corporate Development & Strategy and my US and London teams.
