Music distributor, The Orchard has expanded its global division for children and family entertainment with music brand, Magic Star. The partnership will give Magic Star’s family of childrens’ brands full access to The Orchard’s suite of artist, label services and global distribution network. The move also will bolster The Orchard’s childrens’ offerings, which already include The Wiggles, The Kiboomers and Rockabye Baby.
Managing Director, Will Speer will oversee the Magic Star division, reporting to Prashant Bahadur, The Orchard’s EVP and Head of Strategy. “With the new division under The Orchard, we will continue to build up on the ideas of education, culture, and digital and social tools to reach children and families on a global scale,” said Bahadur.
