Music Biz Member Spotify Launches New Music Mode On Tinder

Spotify has announced a new partnership with dating & lifestyle app, Tinder to launch a new “Music Mode” feature, allowing users to hear a 30-second looped preview of a potential match’s chosen song on their profile. Users who link their Spotify accounts and add a chosen “Anthem,” or hand-picked song featured on their Tinder profiles, will be able to enter the new mode.

Music Mode is now rolling out to app users worldwide in markets where Spotify is available, and can be found on Tinder’s interactive “Explore” page. Tinder has highlighted the new feature’s ability to build on natural ties between music and human connections, allowing potential matches to connect through their music tastes.
