Music Biz Member Sony Music Masterworks Acquires Majority Stake in Dubai-Based MAC Global

Sony Music Masterworks has obtained a majority stake in Dubai-based concert promotion, talent management, events and production company, MAC Global. Founded in 2014 by Rob McIntosh and Daniel Goldberg, MAC Global produces concerts across the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, India and Saudi Arabia. With this agreement, Sony Music Masterworks plans to further expand its presence in global live music & event production. Sony’s relationship with MAC Global serves as an advance in growing the company as a “…multifaceted worldwide entertainment business.”
