Music Biz Member Songclip Announces New Partnership With Hipgnosis

Songclip has announced a new licensing partnership with song management platform, Hipgnosis. Per the terms of the deal, Songclip users will gain access to around 100,000 tracks administered by Hipgnosis.Songclip uses a patented tech solution to integrate licensed clips of tracks on social platforms, dating apps and mobile games, as well as for consumer applications. The company’s suite of tools comprises features such as search and discovery, catalog and compliance, licensing, royalty payments, reporting and end-user analytics. 

“Our partnership with Hipgnosis provides a unique opportunity for consumer apps to license some of the most popular and iconic songs ever written and recorded,” said Songclip’s Chief Business Officer, Kendall Berman. “Distributing the Hignosis Songs catalogue via our API tremendously increases both the quality and value of the Songclip library for our existing partners, and future partners to come.”
