Music Biz Member Primary Wave Strikes Acquisition Deal With Styx’s Dennis DeYoung

Independent music publisher, Primary Wave has struck a music rights deal with Dennis DeYoung, founding member of the Rock band Styx.. Per the new deal, Primary Wave will acquire the music publishing catalog rights for majority of DeYoung’s compositions and master recording rights for recordings featuring DeYoung’s performances. The acquisition will cover many of Styx’s top songs including “Babe,” “Lady,” “The Best of Times” and “Come Sail Away.”
