Instagram has announced a new feature allowing businesses to ‘Boost’ Reels into advertisements. The new tool can be found by tapping the “Boost Post” button on the Reel profile grid. Boosted Reels require videos to be 60 seconds or less, in a 9:16 aspect ratio, and filmed vertically for full-screen format. Copyrighted music, GIFs, interactive stickers and camera filters will continue to remain ineligible in this upgraded feature.
