Independent music distributor, CD Baby has appointed Faryal Khan-Thompson as the company’s newest SVP of Marketing & Community Engagement. In her new role, she will be responsible for developing and overseeing CD Baby’s marketing strategy, branding initiatives, international growth and expanding the company’s artist education and engagement efforts. Prior to joining CD Baby, Khan-Thompson served as the VP of International at TuneCore, where she managed the distributor’s scaling operations and product localization in over 30 markets. She will report to CD Baby’s CRO, Christine Barnum.
