Amazon Music has partnered with global content discovery platform, Bandsintown to release a new merch integration feature that will allow artists to sell merch ranging from physical music products to apparel via a profile integrated into the Bandsintown website and app. Per the partnership, over 590,000 registered acts on Bandsintown For Artists will be able to promote merch from the Amazon Music Artist Merch Shop on Bandsintown’s platform.
“Amazon Music and Bandsintown are coming together to make it even easier for fans to find merch from their favourite artists,” said Sean McMullan, Director of Artist Services for Amazon Music. “Merchandise and touring are uniquely intertwined and we’re making it easier than ever for artists and fans to connect.”
