The Music Business Association is excited to welcome Itay Rahat, Sr. Director of Fan Engagement & Consumer Marketing Platforms at Warner Music Group for ‘New Age Of CRM on Tuesday, May 15 at 12:30 pM during the Music Biz 2018 conference in Nashville! Check out the fun Speaker Spotlight below to get to know Itay a little more before his Music Biz panel.

Music Biz is celebrating its 60th year in 2018. How many Association conferences have you been to and what was your greatest memory? If it’s your first — what panel/keynote/event, etc. (other than your own) are you most excited for? Check out the preliminary schedule here.
This will be my first Music Biz Conference! I’m very excited to hear Scooter Braun accept his award and listen to his keynote. I really admire what he has built and his initiatives around tech and music.  Panel-wise, I’m interested in the 10 year Merlin Anniversary discussion.

What’s that one song that has the power to get you through the work day? Describe it.
Starlight by Muse, I can never get enough of the piano/snare combination and kicks.  In fact I tend to listen to it 2-3 times straight every time. Its one of the earliest memories I have of analyzing tracks after starting Music Production studies.

If you could perform with a hologram of any artist, who would it be and what song would you sing?
I would love to perform Dueling Pianos with Elton John especially as he is about to embark his last tour, after which Holograms would be the way to go!  I’ve been playing piano for 20 years and Elton John is one of my favorite artists. We’d play numerous songs but probably start with ‘Your Song’.
