This year, Music Biz has awarded educational financial assistance to 20 outstanding students through its Scholarship Foundation. This incredibly valuable Association program is made possible by the Foundation’s generous donors, including Alliance Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Big Machine Label Group, Billboard, CD Baby, Concord, Curb Records, The Orchard, Redeye, Rhino Entertainment, the RIAA, SESAC, Sony Music Entertainment, Spotify, Universal Music Group, Verve Records and WEA.
Scholarship recipients include the children of employees of Music Biz member companies, as well as students attending music industry colleges and universities that are members as part of the Association’s Academic Partnership. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement and evidence of future potential. Click here to learn more.

THERESA ABOU-DAOUD
Theresa will enter her Junior year at William Paterson University where she is on the executive board of their student-run Songwriters Guild Organization. She hopes to become an artist manager.
GINA ABRACZINSKAS
Gina is a Senior at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami where she serves as Social Media Chair as well as a songwriter for Cat 5 Publishing Co.
MEGAN BISHOP
A Freshman at Belmont University, Megan is passionate about supporting women in Country music and has been elected as VP of Administration for Women in Entertainment, where her goal is to educate her peers on the issues facing women in entertainment.
REBEKA BISHOP
Rebeka has begun her studies at Full Sail University, working toward a degree in Music Business with a future plan of becoming a venue manager or artist manager.
AINE BUCHAU
Aine is a high school senior who will attend college in the fall and major in Communication Disorders so she can make a difference in the lives of children with communication difficulties. Aine’s mother is employed by Newbury Comics.
MADDY DAVIS
Before beginning her academic career at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music, Maddy took a year off and gained great experience with a small music management company where she had the opportunity to work with GRAMMY-winning artists.
A’JAIONA DOWLEN
A’Jaiona is an undergraduate at Middle Tennessee State University. In addition to being a full time student, she holds two jobs and an internship. She hopes to attend law school after completing her Bachelor’s degree.
FAITH ELDER
Faith is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music and hopes to take on dual minors in Business and Law. Her goal is to have a career in A&R.
DOMINIC GLAUDE
Dominic’s ideal career would be to manage an artist for whom he could mix, record, produce and perform on their songs. He will be a Junior at Berklee College of Music where he has gained knowledge on the behind the scenes of the music and entertainment industry including contracts, copyrights and licensing.
HAIDEN HILL
Haiden will be a Sophomore at Belmont University. She aspires to take her education and apply it to improve an artist’s longevity and relationship to their fanbase.
LINDSEY KING
Lindsey is majoring in Music Business with a legal emphasis at Belmont University. She maintains a 3.93 GPA while also working full-time.
MAN YI LOK
Man Yi is a vocalist studying Music Business at Berklee College of Music. She is the Head of PR for the Berklee Chinese Music Industry Club, where she helps bring Chinese music industry leaders into the U.S. to share their insights on the future of music in different parts of the world.
ALICE MACEDO
An international student from Brazil studying at Berklee College of Music, Alice is a straight-A student who hopes to pursue a career in the U.S. as an artist manager.
EVAN MADER
Entering his Junior year at Drexel University as a Music Industry major, Evan aspires to become a music producer and collaborate with talented artists.
JAYDE ONORI
Jayde will be a Senior at William Paterson University, where she serves on the Board of the student-run Music & Entertainment Organization. Jayde aspires to a career in production and tour management.
CHEYENNE REYNOLDS
Cheyenne is a Student Academic Mentor at Berklee College of Music where she is majoring in Music Business Management and plans to attend law school in order to become an entertainment lawyer.
DAWSON SIMMONS
Dawson majors in Music Business at Middle Tennessee State University. He hopes to become either an artist manager or work in A&R at a record label.
DEREK SONG
Derek will enter his Sophomore year at Berklee College of Music majoring in Music Business and Contemporary Writing/Production. This combination allows him to pursue the two things that are extremely important to him: arts management and creative production.
GWYNNE STEVENSON
Gwynne is a Junior at William Paterson University majoring in Popular Music with minors in Music & Entertainment and Classical Voice. She has been President of her school’s Music & Entertainment Organization and runs on-campus events.
TRISHA TAMBLYN
Trisha is an undergrad student at Lindenwood University where she is pursuing a BA in Music Business and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Jazz and Contemporary Music, in the hopes of one day running her own startup music label.
