The Music Business Association (Music Biz) will honor GRAMMY Award-winning musician, singer and songwriter Peter Frampton with the Chairman’s Award for Sustained Creative Achievement at the Music Biz 2019 Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner sponsored by BuzzAngle Music, City National Bank, Cracker Barrel, Jammber, and TiVo. April 18, 2019 – Music Biz Member Schoolkids Records Celebrates 45th Anniversary
Music Biz member Schoolkids Records will celebrate its 45th anniversary this Saturday, April 20th. The Raleigh, NC independent record shop first opened its doors in 1974, right across the street from NC State University. Since then, the store has expanded with new locations in Durham and Chapel Hill, built a robust online marketplace. In 2014, they opened a full bar and a stage for in-store performances at the Raleigh location. Congratulations to Schoolkids on 45 years of success!... Read More
